CardUp

A Singapore-base regulated payment processor

CardUp calls itself a “no-code platform” that helps individuals and businesses improve cash flow, save time and automate finance processes. The company was founded by its CEO, Nicki Ramsay, in 2015.

CardUp enables any payment made by bank transfer today to be shifted to a credit card, regardless of whether the recipients accept credit cards. Consumers can maximize card benefits like extended credit terms and the earning of rewards on significant payments such as rent to a landlord, taxes, insurance premiums, tuition fees, and more.

CardUp accepts all major credit cards and partners with leading institutions like United Overseas Bank (UOB), Citibank, Bank of China, Mastercard, etc.

CardUp operates regionally across Singapore, Hong Kong, and Malaysia and is licensed by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) as a Major Payment Institution under the Payment Services Act.

We could not find any complaints around the company, which made us give CardUp a green rating.
