Azimo is an online money transfer platform that allows users to send money to over 195 countries in the world and in over 60 currencies via its website or mobile app.

Transfers abroad can be made in a number of ways, including bank-to-bank transfers, cash pickups, home deliveries, mobile top-ups, mobile wallets, and SWIFT transfers.

When using Azimo, users may pay for the transfer using personal credit or debit card or transfer the amount directly from their own bank account to Azimo account via online banking.

The company is headquartered in Amsterdam with offices in Kraków and London.

Azimo was founded in October 2012 in London by Michael Kent (Linkedin).

In March 2022, Azimo was acquired by the New York-based payroll and payments solutions provider, Papaya Global.

Azimo is regulated by the FCA (FRN 900220), DNB (R142440), FINTRAC (M17813273), AMF (904697 ), AUSTRAC (ACN 642 496 740), and the Hong Kong Customs and Excise Department (MSO-License number: 21-07-02032).
