Latvian payment gateway in Cyprus
SEBES a/k/a SEBES Technology is the trading name of Cyprus-based Sebes Technology Ltd. The company is related to the FCA-regulated EMD agenda Everyfin (PC42 profile) and is operated by the same Latvian individuals.
SEBES does not make any statements about its partners or the licenses it works with. The payment processor offers bank accounts with IBAN and SEPA integration and card processing solutions for merchants.
The website of this payment processor looks rather dubious. Due to the lack of information disclosed, we include SEBES in our “Orange Compliance” list.

I have contacted the provider to discuss a possible application. We hopped into a call and in the call everything they said seemed tempting and good. However after the call one of their representatives wrote to me a “small part” that they missed during the call and it was that the FTD channel we spoke about has some requirements for the transactions that are passing through there. The request was softly said inadequate. Below you can see the full list of information they said they will require:
“A technical moment that i would like to highlight – that for the FTD solution we will be asking to send us:
– Name
– surname
– country
– nationality
– amount
– card CVV
– cardMonth
– card year
– card number
– Address”
My question is who need such sensitive information of the clients that process transactions? And more important – why they want it?
I would like to attach a photo of the message I received, proving my statement above, however I cannot see such an option.
