Neteller is a trading name of Skrill Limited, part of the Paysafe group.
Neteller was originally focused on processing payments to gambling providers. Approximately 80% of the larger operators used Neteller’s service, and nearly 95% of its revenue at the time came from transfers to gambling operators, primarily in the US.
Due to company information, customers from about 200 countries use Neteller to transfer or receive money from merchants. The available balance can be withdrawn with the NET+ MasterCard or paid out to a registered bank account.
Clients have to deposit money into their NETELLER account and spend it with merchants, which accept NETELLER as a means of payment. The instant and secure payment option is based on a Net+ Prepaid and Virtual Mastercard.
NETELLER also offers clients to buy and sell cryptocurrencies via their accounts.
Customers can choose between 26 currencies for their account. Available currencies are AED, AUD, BGN, BRL, CAD, CHF, DKK, EUR, GBP, HUF, INR, JPY, MAD, MXN, MYR, NGN, NOK, PLN, RON, RUB, SEK, SGD, TND, TWD, USD, and ZAR.
The FCA license from one of its legal entities (Neteller (UK) Ltd) was revoked in June 2021.
We have uncovered NETELLER as a payment facilitator in broker scams and thus included it in our “Red Compliance” list.
