Volt is an open banking paytech and real-time payments orchestrator for merchants and payment service providers (PSP). Volt is one of the leading open payments gateways. The New Zealander Tom Greenwood (LinkedIn) established the payment processor in 2019.

The French Gabriel Luc Andre Marie Bernard De Montessus de Ballore is one of the company’s directors, who is also a director in the WorldPay Group. Volt has offices in London, Amsterdam, and Krakow (Poland).

In October 2021, Volt announced a partnership with Worldline (profile) that gave them access to over 600 merchants globally.
