With every purchase you make with your Tomorrow card, you help protect a piece of the Brazilian rainforest. That’s because Tomorrow forwards a portion of the fees it receives from a transaction to a sustainable project run by ClimatePartner. And even with the money it manages, Tomorrow promises to fund only sustainable and social projects, such as the expansion of renewable energy.

Tomorrow also finances a microfinance fund that enables many institutions worldwide (but especially in the Southern Hemisphere) to provide microloans to financially vulnerable people on fair terms.

Founded in 2018 by Inas Nureldin (Linkedin), Michael Schweikart (Linkedin), and Jakob Berndt (Linkedin) in Hamburg, Germany, Tomorrow GmbH is a certified B-Corp, meaning a company that “meets the highest social and environmental standards.”

With more than 90 employees, the company already manages over 90,000 customers and thus deposits of over 100 million euros.

Through its social approach, 84 million m² of rainforest and 14 million trees have already been protected, and 21 million kg of CO2 offset.
